Terms & Conditions

These Terms and conditions of Service (hereinafter referred to as “TOS”) between J.V. Travels Private Limited (hereinafter referred to as “JV”) and the person(s) availing the services (hereinafter referred to as the “User”) on the website www.jvtravels.com (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”) shall be read and understood carefully by the User before availing any services. Availing of the Services shall imply that the User has read, understood and accepted without any conditions the TOS.

These TOS shall be further governed by the Terms and Conditions of Privacy Policy and the User Agreement available on the Website.


  1. The User will be required to pay the entire booking amount prior to the confirmation of booking. Any amount paid in part or not paid shall not entitle the User to claim that he has made the booking.

  2. All final prices are inclusive of applicable Government Taxes and Levies.

  3. The discounts available on website are solely at the discretion of JV and JV has the sole rights to withdraw any discounts and/or schemes without any notice.

  4. JV shall not be responsible for any refunds for “no shows” or for any partial utility of booking.

  5. To avail of infant’s fares, an infant must be under 24 months from the date of birth throughout the entire itinerary of journey done under the booking. This includes the onward and return journeys. If the infant is 24 months or above on the date of return journey, User will have to make a separate booking using a child fare.

  6. Senior Citizens Booking is dependent on Airlines Policy and JV shall not be responsible for the same.

  7. All the tickets/bookings issued to the User shall be further governed by the terms and conditions of the respective service provider/airlines.

  8. As per the Airlines Rules, the standard check-in-time begins 2 hours prior to scheduled departure time for domestic flights and 3 hours prior to scheduled departure time for international flights. Users are further advised to check the Websites of respective Service Providers for any change in the check-in-timing policy before starting their journey.

  9. In the event, User does not report within the reporting time, he/she shall be considered as “no show” and JV shall not be held responsible for the same.

  10. All Users are required to carry valid photo identity for proof of age along with them.

  11. Users are required to submit proof of age at the time of booking concessional fares.

  12. The allocation of seats is as per Airlines Policy. JV does not assume any responsibility for seat allocation. Users are advised to visit Website of the respective Airlines to check the seat allocation policy.

  13. Bookings done for Hotel shall not be refunded in case of “no show”. JV does not endorse the authenticity of claims made by Hotels on their website. Users are required to make their independent enquiries prior to booking.

  14. In case of changes in bookings, JV can assist the User with amendments only to the extent possible at its end. In some cases, though, User will have to contact the Airlines directly. All changes will be subject to levies, fare differences and re-booking charges as applicable.

  15. Bookings made on the Website are subject to amendment of charges levied by Airlines, Hotels, Tour Operators, which may vary from flight to flight and from booking class. In case of cancellation or postponement of bookings, charges levied by the Airlines are non-refundable.

  16. In addition to the Airlines Amendment Charges, JV charges a non-refundable amendment handling fee of INR 300 per passenger per segment within India Domestic Bookings and INR 500 per passenger per ticket for International Bookings (Ex-India/To-India/Anywhere in the World). These charges will be collected from the User at the time of making changes to the User’s travel plan. Amended tickets will be issued on payment of difference in fares, taxes, levies and amendment handling fees.

  17. Amendment of Booking Fares depends on Airline Policy and JV has no role in the same.

  18. Every Booking made on the website is subject to cancellation charges levied by the Airline. These charges are variable depending upon the flight and the booking class.

  19. The refundable/non-refundable nature of booking fares is as per the Airline Policy.

  20. Convenience fees is non-refundable in case of tickets cancellation by the User or flight cancellation by the Airline.

  21. User can login and do online cancellation of his/her booking by following the cancellation procedure as laid down on the website. User shall be required to make a request for any valid and applicable refund within 90 days from the date of cancellation. No refund would be payable for any request made after the expiry of 90 days of date of cancellation and all such unclaimed amount shall be deemed to have been forfeited. The refund shall be processed within 15-20 working days from the date of cancellation request, after receiving refund from the concerned Service Provider.

  22. User can also opt for offline cancellations by calling on the telephone lines of JV. Charges for offline cancellation may vary from those for online cancellation.

  23. No cancellation request shall be entertained unless it is made online or through telephone.

  24. Upon doing web/tele check in, User shall get in touch with airline for cancellation. JV will not be able to process refund for such cancellations and does not take any responsibility towards the same.

  25. Convenience Fee charged at the time of booking is non-refundable.

  26. For any cancellation made by the User for which refund is already processed and if it is found that User has used/made changes to the ticket on the same PNR directly with the Airline, JV reserves it right to debit the original mode of payment against the amount which has been refunded to the User.

  27. It is mandatory to contact JV for all refunds in relation to cancellation done on the website. Airlines will not be able to refund fares of tickets booked on the website.

  28. Cancellations directly made with the Airline are required to be intimated to JV either by e-mail or by phone in order to enable JV to initiate the refund process.

  29. Processing time for cancellation and refund request vary.

  30. Refund of charges shall be processed on the basis of payment made. If the payment is made by Credit Card, then the same will be refunded to User’s Credit Card.

  31. JV shall refund cancellation amount only after the respective airlines/service provider processes the refund.

  32. In case of package tours, if the Service Provider makes any alteration to the booking made by the User, User will be given option of cancelling the tour without penalty, but this is not guaranteed and shall depend on the terms of the service provider.

  33. All fares and prices quoted are subject to availability at the time of booking. Prices are subject to change. Prices set on the website may not include taxes, airport charges and other additional cost such as fuel levies, surcharges for internet booking and seasonal search charges. User will be notified of applicable taxes, airport charges and other charges at the time of booking. Such taxes and charges are subject to change until tickets are issued. In case of some Airports, taxes are not prepaid and it is the responsibility of the Traveller to pay such amount wherever applicable.

  34. User shall be responsible for their own action in utilizing the services availed of by them. JV shall not be liable for any such action.

  35. The User hereby consents, expresses and agrees that he has read and fully understood the TOS herein. The User further consents that the TOS are acceptable to him.
